CoBiz is an advanced real-time monitoring and control system designed to maximize the safety and efficiency of robot operations. It uses high-end sensor technology and AI to detect potential risks and abnormal situations immediately and provide immediate response options.

Core capabilities

CoBiz provides the following capabilities in phases depending on the selected plan.

Core Plan

This plan includes the essential features required to directly operate and monitor robots remotely.

Real-time monitoring and control of robot operating environments

CoBiz integrates the robot's onboard sensors with ultra-low latency so operators can monitor the site in real time and respond immediately when needed.

  • simultaneous multi-stream support for fixed, PTZ, thermal, and 360-degree cameras
  • ultra-low-latency remote control through gamepads or VR without distance limitations
  • two-way voice communication for on-site interaction
  • rendering of real-time 3D LiDAR and RGBD point-cloud data
  • real-time monitoring of additional attached sensor values

VR-based monitoring and advanced control

Using VR devices such as Meta Quest 3, operators can monitor robots equipped with 360-degree cameras more immersively. The plan also includes robotic-arm control using VR controller inputs.

Robot device management

Operators can manage owned robot assets by viewing, editing, and deleting registered devices.

Authentication and user management

Administrative features are included to block unauthorized access and register or remove users who are allowed to access the system.

Autonomous Plan

This plan goes beyond direct robot operation and adds advanced capabilities for automating robot work and minimizing human intervention. It includes all Core Plan features.

3D environment perception and GPS-based autonomous navigation

Robots can perceive 3D environments through LiDAR and RGBD cameras and navigate autonomously based on 3D maps. In outdoor environments, RTK GPS-based latitude and longitude navigation is supported. For robots that support charging pads or docks, automatic docking for charging is also available.

Map management

CoBiz stores and manages 3D and 2D maps of robot work sites on the server. The web interface can visualize registered maps and register labels or outdoor entry points at specific locations. When a new robot is added, it can immediately be put into operation using existing maps and metadata without additional integration work.

Workflow registration and scheduling

Operators can register and manage workflows that define a sequence of robot actions such as autonomous navigation, TTS playback, and custom work, then automate execution through scheduling.

Notification system

Operators can receive alerts about workflow execution history. Email notifications are currently implemented.

Extended capabilities

By integrating TeamGRIT's tgdm and mantis servers, CoBiz can be extended into a stronger data-analysis platform.

Operational data storage and replay

The operational data storage and replay feature requires the tgdm solution.

Video, audio, and sensor Tracks emitted by robots can be stored automatically or manually according to operational policy. The stored data can be used for incident analysis, work-history review, model validation, and training-case accumulation. When needed, specific moments can be replayed to inspect operational flow in detail.

AI analysis pipelines

The AI analysis pipeline feature requires the mantis solution.

Real-time streams collected in CoBiz can be used as input to AI analysis pipelines for advanced functions such as object recognition, event detection, and abnormal-situation analysis. Analysis outputs can be monitored on the web as video and event streams.
